Comments: This tractor has had a complete restoration. The tires are new with the correct design. The hoses, oil lines, wiring, gauges and switches are also new. This was a complete tear down restoration. This engine is the best starting Detroit I have ever seen. This 8010 was a trailblazer in the muscle tractor market. The 8010 was the first articulated 4 wheel drive model manufactured by John Deere and was produced from 1961 to 1964. During this time the 8010s were factory converted into 8020s. The 8020 tips the scale at more than 20,000 pounds, and it stretches to nearly 8 feet tall and 8 feet wide. Only 101 of these grand tractors were built in the Waterloo, Iowa plant. The 8020 contains a Detroit 6-71 GM 2-cycle, 6 cylinder engine and a transmission with eight forward and two reverse gears. It packs a punch of power, offering an engine that pumps out more than 200 horsepower.
